    2. Skyl kålen i koldt vand og lad det dræne godt.
    3. I en anden skål, kombiner hvidløg, ingefær, sukker, og fiskesauce/soja sauce og bland godt. Tilsæt chiliflagerne, justér mængden for at kontrollere krydderiet.
    4. Bland kålen med krydderiblandingen og forårsløgene. Sørg for bladene er godt dækket.

    6. Lad krukken stå ved stuetemperatur i 1-5 dage for at fermentere. Åbn krukken dagligt for at lufte og presse kålen ned.
